AI Strategy • Research • Creative Work
Hey, I'm Mel!
I love research, strategy, storytelling, photography, and building things from the ground up.
By day, I work at Morgan Stanley on a $10B institutional consulting team. There, I became fascinated by how automation could reshape the role of a financial analyst, which led me to develop and execute our team's AI strategy.
At night, I bring that curiosity to my own experiments, exploring how much one person can create across creative disciplines.

MY AI PLAYGROUND
Pushing the limits of what one person can do with AI

SYSTEMS
Bringing AI into a $10B team
Redesigning workflows, testing tools, and learning what it takes to get a team using AI.

PRODUCT STRATEGY
Rethinking everyday products
Turning my frustrations with Spotify and Facebook Marketplace into product recommendations, researching why those experiences fall short, what users say across social platforms, and how to improve them.

MARKETING ANALYSIS
Finding what customers actually value
Testing how AI can turn online reviews, pricing, and search data into practical marketing recommendations for small businesses, from travel and hospitality to moving services.

BRAND
Reimagining Karin Apartments
Reimagining separate Mallorca properties as one premium stay, pairing a shared brand identity with market analysis to identify simple improvements to guests' sense of value.

STUDIO
Building VÉRITÉ
Building a creative strategy studio from the ground up, testing what I could create on my own with AI, from brand assets and a website to customer deliverables.

FILM
From an L train idea to a campaign
Exploring NYC's 9-to-5 professionals as a potential audience for Lovable, taking a campaign from idea to concept, script, visuals, and AI-generated video.

RESEARCH
How far can you take a paper?
I revisited my undergraduate research on how mining and air pollution affect education in Mongolia to see how much further I could take it with AI: updating the data through 2025, checking whether the original findings still held, and seeing what additional questions I could answer.
